(Bottom 3: Dress: Zara, Thigh highs: Wolford, Booties: Aldo)
(Photography: Alexa Meyer)
After my sister established her 8 fall must haves, I took each one into consideration as to which I’d purchase first. I chose the Wolford thigh highs and I couldn’t be more content with my choice! They are so adorable, and look great with everything. These specific ones are really cool because they’re not just the typical thigh highs, they have really cool detailing on the top. It’s like these velvet stripes that wrap around my thighs. I had so much fun with Alexa shooting these outfits, because we found an awesome spot where it literally was everything we were looking for in one small hut. An ample amount of leaves on the ground, branches, trees, cool air and breeze, it all sort of just worked. In the second outfit I am wearing this awesome black dress I got a couple months ago from Zara. It’s kind of gothy but if you pair it with the right accessories you can switch it over to just chic. Not that the dress itself is even at all close to boring, I decided to add some sort of color into it, and considering red, in my head, would be extremely cheesy, I leaned towards these Aldo leopard booties. They’re kind of risky because they could fall into the cheesy category but if you pair it with outfits that don’t have much going on, it actually pulls it all together. The whole point of these two outfits was to show opposite types of dresses both being able to be worn with these thigh highs. In the first outfit, I chose this old H&M dress my older sister bought and cut up, and put it with the thigh highs and it still worked. The maroon dress can be worn during the day, at night time as well, but it works for both. It turned out looking really great in the photos because the colors were so fall. Hopefully next time Alexa and I meet we can do more than two outfits, and in Central Park!
