(Pants: Mugler, Tank top: Phillip Lim)
My mom was going through things in her closet and offered me these pants. At first I wasn’t really sure when or how I could wear them, but after playing around with them they turned out to be a lot cooler than I thought. They’re much more my older sisters style, (I mean, she has the best style,) but I figured maybe I could incorporate some of that into my own. I would wear these pants to a holiday party or a dinner. I wanted to wear it with something light on top so that the detailing of the pants would stand out. This also would look cute with a cropped sweater for the winter. My tank top is Phillip Lim, and is about three years old, but a great purchase. It’s different but easy, and I love the frilly flap on top. I wish we photgraphed the back of the tank top, because the silver buttons that go up the back are a huge part of the shirt. The shorter silver necklace my mother gave it to me, but we try to share it between me and my little sister, and the long silver one my older sister got me for my 21st birthday. It broke though still looks cool. I know high waisted can be tricky, but these are not tight high waisted and could be flattering on almost anyone.
