(Sweater: Topshop, Black pants: Elizabeth&James, Rings: Vintage, big gold one from my sister, Loafers: Stuart Weitzman)
I don’t know what it is, if it’s the lighting or the color of the sweater in these photographs, but it is literally glowing. I also don’t really know what compelled me to buy this sweater, but it stuck out in the store. Unfortunately, even though it isn’t vintage, it sure does smell like it, and there is absolutely no way of going about washing this thing. It’s too pretty to risk ruining. I love seeing it hanging in my closet next to my other shiny pieces, because this one puts everything else to shame. It’s a satisfied sequined piece. Not a single part of the sweater is visible. Anyway, I wore this sweater out with some friends a few weekends ago, and I paired it with a black skirt and thigh highs. Last night while trying it on, I was more in casual mode, and decided to see what it would look like with these high waisted Elizabeth&James pants. I feel bad for anything you pair this sweater with, considering it won’t even be noticeable. This sweater takes up an entire outfit, which is great, but that’s why it’s kind of important to put it with something simple. After much consideration, I wore flats opposed to heels with this. I felt like my blog is always displaying outfits with heels and never with flat shoes. I don’t own a pair of sneakers, but as far as flat shoes go, I love these Stuart Weitzman shiny loafers. They are so convenient, and are pretty easy to go with anything. A fine purchase.
