The 5 spring must haves by Jane Kim

I lived with Jane for two years, she is a best friend of mine AND an inspiration. She is one of the most unique and artistic dressers, and I’ve always admired the way she put herself together. She has taught me a lot when it comes to fashion, so I figured I’d get her input on what she thinks would be the five must haves for this spring! Thanks Jane

1. A PERFECT STRIPE – whether it be a long-sleeve, short-sleeve, or a dress, you can never go wrong with stripes. This eyelet lace is a unique spin off the classic stripes which is perfect for the spring (See by Chloe from

2. YELLOW MINI – I’ve been searching for that perfect LYD. I have my eye particularly on this Emanuel Ungaro Resort 2010 collection dress – One-shoulder, yellow, and black lace ugggh I just want to eat it up! (

3. THE EVERYDAY WEDGE – wedges are perfect to make the winter to spring transition. Absolutely love the lace-ups and the open-toe from these Jeffrey Campbell’s… and they’re grey! I would endure all the blisters and aches for these. (

4. LEATHER SHORTSthe nude takes the edgy off of leather. I picture putting on these See by Chloe “Boyfriend Shorts” ( with a vintage t-shirt as I roll out of bed and having an instant, hassle-free outfit. Can’t not bring up these brown lace-ups from Alex Wang’s 2010 RTW Collection when mentioning leather shorts… (

5. ANORAK JACKET – the thing I miss most about the cooler weather is the purpose for great coats and jackets! It’s a great excuse to take out the lighter jackets. Instead of a simple trench, a great alternative is the anorak for spring. This one from J.Crew comes in a dark navy too and is decently priced.
