As I rummaged through my big bag full of clothing, I came across this cozy thin sweater that I hardly ever wear. After seeing the Rag&Bone line, I was completely inspired by the long sleeve with a skirt look. I think it sort of relates to my long sleeve mini dress obsession. I just love the idea. I was also inspired by the high socks in the Rag&Bone line and wanted to emulate the entire look. These aren’t really even thigh highs, they are more like knee socks, and super comfortable. They stay on too, opposed to those annoying thigh highs that continuously fall down as you walk.

I felt that perhaps pairing a grey top, grey skirt, grey socks, and grey shoes may have gone a little overboard, so I added a brown belt and bag to sort of tie it all together, yet separate it. This bag I actually got a few years ago, I have yet to wear it in. It’s still a bit stiff and it’s one of those bags that needs to be distressed and flimsy.

Rings of course, F21. I keep getting stopped for my turquoise ring, but it’s not from F21 unfortunately. It was my grandma’s. There are a ton that look like it though, I will post what I can find.

x, Arielle

    thanks!!

first question: you can definitely wear brown shoes with it, make sure it comes together with something though so you're not wearing all light and then dark shoes at the bottom. beige would be cool too.

second and third anonymous: the thigh highs I got a few years ago at a store in long island, but this website Stockin' Girl has some good ones.
