(Heels: Vintage, Jeans: JBRAND, Shirt: Alisha Levine , Jacket: Chanel)

It’s really fun to be able to take extremely high end pieces and juxtapose it with something like this shirt that I bought at an Alsha Levine sample sale. The contrast really makes the actual pieces stand out even more. In a weird way they sort of compliment each other. I have photographed these jeans before. They are different than any other denim I’ve ever purchased. I don’t know if it’s because of the tying or the feeling of the material, or how the strings washed out, but I love that I have nothing like them. This jacket was a piece I found in the cedar closet of treasures. It was hung up next to my mothers vintage Alaia and Christian Dior gowns that I at some point must photograph. The colors are absurd, red yellow blue green black all on one dress, could you imagine? I opted for the simple black and white Chanel for today though.

By the way: I thought the stylists were extremely angry yesterday, because I thought the fashion was terrible. The only gowns I liked were Zoe Saldana, Sandra Bullock, Diane Kruger, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
