Again, thanks to the wonderful Morgan from SockTheory for sending me these knee highs, I am absolutely obsessed. I went to the socktheory website yesterday and ordered some new things. My knee high muse is of course Alexa Chung.
Anyway, I was so upset because after I photographed these knee highs I was planning on wearing them out that night, as my friend Ania and I were picking up some last minute things at Duane Reade, we scurried into the apartment to start getting dressed. For some reason the knee highs were no where to be found. We literally turned the entire apartment upside down, almost at each others throats because we thought we were going crazy. Ania suggested we do the backward footstep game (you know what we used to do when we were little and lost something.) We retraced our footsteps and wound up in Duane Reade. Lo and Behold in isle 9 were my knee highs. Let me say that again, LITERALLY in the middle of the floor in isle 9, were my knee highs. Trampled over, just hanging out. Finally we went back to the apartment to get ready, and they were completely ripped. I could cry. I just ordered a new pair at SockTheory, but I was devestated. Thank god I photographed them before hand.
My lipstick is Pink Sizzle from Face Atelier, beyond excited to wear this color all summer when I’m tan!
By the way, I found the most amazing thing on Vogue.Com. My friend Rachel introduced it to me, where specific fashion icons take pictures of what they wear everyday for a month. February was Alexa Chung, March was Rosie Huntington-Whitely, and April is Olivia Palermo. Check it out, it’s my favorite thing ever now. I decided to do it as well
Today I’m wearing:
