Halloween is just around the corner! For some reason this year, I really couldn’t figure out what I wanted to be – but I’ve finally made my decision. I’m really excited about it. I went through my phase of buying costumes and what not, I’m very into making my own costume these days so I’m pretty excited for October 31st. Anyway, this sweater is one of my favorites I own. It’s as big and cozy as it looks. I live in it. How could you not?

I went to the Kenneth Cole blogger dinner last week (pre hair coloring) and had the opportunity of seeing the spring 2011 collection as well as meeting Kenneth. He put together this amazing dinner that shadowed his inspiration for his spring line which was desert, mountain, and rainforest. The table and the food were based on the inspiration and they even had waiters walk around with some of the accessories from the collection. It was really an amazing experience and I got to meet so many other bloggers. We also received this mini flip cams from Kenneth before the dinner with a personal video invitation from him. I love these camera things! I can’t stop playing with them. Videos to come soon

(Dress: Free People, Faux Fur: Zara, Shoes: Topshop)
My amazing faux fur from Zara…I still think about the grey one that I kept going back and forth with in front of the mirror in the middle of the store. I just may have to go back and get it. I love Zara’s faux fur. They always seem to stand out more than any other. I paired it with this mini Free people t-shirt (threw a slip on underneath) and heels and I’m good to go! This clutch my mom bought me for my birthday and it is probably the most stunning bag I own. These pictures are my favorite because they are so New York. Even the lighting alone is so New York. Next week when I shoot more pictures I’ll be able to have better outfits put together, my apartment is in shambles because of the move. I can’t wait for wednesday when I spend the entire day in the container store. Best place on earth. I will post before and after pictures once I’m moved in next week
Have a great weekend! x

(Skirt: American Apparel, Blouse: Vintage, Shoes: F21)
This blouse was stolen from my older sister. She brought it home and I absolutely fainted. Its so elegant and the it’s really a beautiful pale pink. I never wear this skirt from American Apparel, I kind of always have a hard time figuring out what to do with it. It spiced up a blouse that would normally be paired with a simple pair of pants. It was unpredictable. I also can’t get enough of these F21 shoes. They are such an amazing mary-jane and for 35 dollars? Can’t beat that!

(dress: elizabeth and james (gifted), booties: elizabeth and james, hat: topshop, bag: vintage)
so this is my full on elizabeth and james outfit. they were kind enough to send me some dresses a few weeks back, this being one of them. i am kind of sickly obsessed with it. it’s my go to black dress for the fall. i’ve worn it out a handful of times already. i think it’s so sexy, so chic. not only is it black, but it has slits at the end of the sleeves, fringes, and it’s mini.
so, i’m not sure if you can tell from these photographs, but yesterday i had my hair colored and dyed “ombre.” they sort of kept the top dark brown and made it lighter and lighter as it reaches the bottom. it’s weird, i’m no longer a brunette. i’m half blonde half brunette. i must say, my personality has certainly changed a bit now that i got a little blonde in me
