Ahh. Monday. I feel like I haven’t been giving my full attention to the blog in a few days but I promise I have a lot of great things coming up. Jane and I are working on a day this week to photograph all the new ideas that I’ve come up with, including some new attire! I have yet to introduce you to my white pony hair litas and my navy suede litas. These are just a bunch of random looks that were put together in the past few weeks. x,a

I hope everyone had a lovely thanksgiving! I recently bought these booties and I am absolutely in love with the metal heel and platform, I don’t have anything like them. I bought this blouse at a sample sale the other day on my lunch break for 50 dollars! I love the look of a blouse with a high neck and a bow. No one can go wrong with these Isabel Marant harem pants. They are literally the softest pair of pants ever made. On my day off, I decided to do some blog brainstorming and came up with some really cool ideas. Jane and I will be working on some new things for the blog and a really interesting take on styling, photography, and location. I can’t wait to share everything. I have a lot of great exciting things to photograph. Everyone should be taking advantage of Black Friday. Go out and shop and let me know some exciting things you were able to buy! x,a
ghost in the cottonwoods

I decided to do something different with this sweater. The color is so amazing that it can’t just be used for a a predictable outfit, so in this case I paired it with this vintage gown that would never be expected. I love the extremely fancy look with a casual sweater. The detailing on the dress is so intricate it’s almost sort of a shame to have the sweater over it, but it’s more about the idea. Last night I went to see an amazing play called Ghost in the Cottonwoods at St Marks theater. It was really inspiring. The costumes were so raggedy and old, they had a refrigerator made out of a trunk of a car, the sons bedroom was underneath the kitchen table, it was truly like living in someone else’s world for an hour and a half and enduring the pain belonging to an unfortunate family, it was riveting. I highly suggest it to anyone in New York!
