This Gansevoort hotel is right across the street from my apartment, so I tend to go there often. Dinner, drinks, work-out, etc. I love the way the lobby is decorated, very Alice and Wonderland-esque, with the striped dizzying floors, the high chairs in odd colors, sort of like a modern take on it. I chose the one piece in my closet that I was unsure of when I was buying it. It reminded me a bit of a cow – which, when it comes to fashion, I don’t believe as such a great thing. Instead of pairing it with a typical, white or grey top, I chose a turquoise/blue long sleeve sweater my boyfriends cousin gave me. It’s sheer so it adds a sexy touch and keeping it away from “cute.” I threw on my favorite shoes in my closet, the pair that my boyfriend bought me for my birthday, to add a pop of color. I think it went well with the Gansevoort theme.
