(Sweater: Zara, Bracelets: Bijoux, Pants: Zara, Sunglasses: SunnyT’s)
So this is my full on Zara outfit. The pieces didn’t come together but I loved the mismatching of it – I thought it worked together so nicely. I was trying the pants on and then a few different sweaters and I decided this was going to be my new go to fall/winter outfit. These pants are seriously like pajamas. I wore them on the plane last week and was the comfiest person ever. My sister made fun of me because I travel in heels, but in my defense the pants are super long and that was the only way I could wear them! I threw on a pair of the SunnyT’s and called it a cozy day in the apartment!

(Shorts: Urban Outfitters, Shirt: Alexander Wang: Jacket: Zara, Bag: Chanel, Shoes: Rachel Zoe, Knee Highs: Sock Theory)
I have to start off this post by telling you how amazing it’s been meeting readers on the streets of New York this past week. I don’t know what it is about this week, but I’m loving it! It’s such a great feeling having the girls who check the blog often come up to me and let me know how much they like it. Honestly, there is no better feeling. I love that I can be an inspiration to girls getting dressed in the morning. Now, about the outfit: I rummaged through my fall storage and came across these sequin shorts that were once trendy. I still love them and want to wear them so I figured I’d update the typical sequin short look with some fur and an open back oversized blouse. I kind of need to relax with the faux fur but it’s totally my thing for the season. My Rachel Zoe booties I can already tell are going to be my staple fall/winter shoe. I can’t wear them just yet, but I do catch myself attempting to make it work with a warm weather outfit. Unsuccessful.

(Tank top: American Apparel, Fur: Zara, Pants: Robert Rodriguez, Necklace: DanniJo, Bag: Chanel, Sunglasses: SunnyT’s)
More, more, and more fall pieces. I had a very difficult time at Zara choosing between capes and furs so both it is. I loved the oatmeal coloring of this fur coat and the fact that it has a zipper to close it. The pants, aaahhh, I have been waiting to talk about these. They are probably my favorite purchase for fall. I got them at Intermix a month ago and had to have them hemmed, so I’m finally just seeing them again now. They are the fabric that works in the warm weather but also in the cold. It looks beyond cute paired with an oversized sweater, but I felt like going a different way today while shooting. UGH, I love them so much!

(Danielle: Shirt: The Row, Vest: Lanvin, Jeans: Joe’s, Shoes: Valentino)
I can not believe I skipped over this post. I finally have a day to go through all of my photos from fashion week and FNO. On Fashions Night Out, Danielle and I were asked to host the Joe’s Jeans event in Soho. We were thrilled – we both have always been huge fans of Joe’s Jeans and their ever so soft denim. They came out with the color collection, it literally contains EVERY single color in the crayon box, no joke. I received these “Atlantic” jeans to wear on FNO which were different for me but wound up working with so many pieces in my closet. We had the best time styling the costumers and getting to know all the Joe’s Jeans shoppers. It was amazing meeting the Joe’s team, they totally get mine and Danielle’s style – this was the perfect brand for us to collaborate with. Later this week I will post my mohair sweater from Joe’s that I died for. It’s the cutest thing ever. If you want to shop Joe’s click HERE or drop by their pop up store on 77 Mercer.

(Sweater: Zara, Cape: Zara, Pants: H&M, Shoes: Anne Michelle, Bag: Elie Tahari, Sunglasses: SunnyT’s)
If you dig this outfit, you’ll be glad to know it’s completely affordable. I was so excited to post all of my fall looks because I love showing how we can make cheap look high end. I recently did a big Zara shop where I found my staple sweaters and coats, followed by H&M where I purchased a majority of my staple pants and accessories, and then dug up some of my fall/winter oldies, like these booties. The booties were 60 dollars, can you believe that? Two years and still going strong! The pants were 35 dollars, sweater 50, cape 100, and last but not least my favorite 40 dollar sunnyt’s. In all of my upcoming posts, I am donning different colors/styles of sunny t’s which are my favorite accessory for this fall. Buy yours here!
