Sperry/Glamour

(Dress: Lanvin, Shoes: Sperry)
This past monday, Christina and I shot for the Sperry Campaign with Glamour Magazine. We had the best time. The shoot took place in this cool little townhouse in Brooklyn where we shot some great scenes with the best selection of clothing and shoes. This Lanvin dress being one of them, I really wanted to take it home. I can't wait until we can show you the actual video and all the amazing looks.
Happy holidays and new year to you all! Can't wait to post pictures from Panama when I'm back, in the meantime check twitter for pics and updates!

(Coat: Zara, Shirt: Ralph Lauren, Leggings: Necessary Clothing, Boots: Juicy Couture, Clutch: Coach)
I love digging through all of my old stuff and finding pieces I received during collaborations and projects. I got this clutch last year around this time when I did the Coach Holiday Campaign. The boots are from the project I did with Juicy Couture, and the top is when I did a project with Ralph Lauren. It's really cool working with three very different brands and being able to combine pieces from each designer.
Just got back from Topshop, found the greatest bikinis on sale for my trip to Panama.
I even bumped into some fans of Somethingnavy and took a picture together.
Here is the picture they tweeted:

LOVED meeting you guys!! xx

(Dress: Astars, Jacket: Ralph Lauren, Shoes: Steven by Steve Madden, Hat: Topshop)
I snagged this coat from Ralph Lauren when I hosted their Breast Cancer Awareness event. It is the coziest, most amazing, oversize boyfriend blazer. My older sister wants it so badly, that's how I know I succeeded in finding a very cool piece. I paired it with my Steven by Steve Madden booties that I wear to work every day. They are great subway booties, if you live in New York you'd understand what I mean.
Super excited to go to the Knicks game tonight!!

(Dress: H&M, Jacket: H&M, Boots: LF, Sunnies: RayBan)
I had the best time yesterday shooting for Sperry Topsiders and Glamour Magazine. Not only did I get to work with my best blogger friend Christina from Trop Rouge, but we spent the whole day in Brooklyn in this awesome house filming as awesome video. We played around, went to the bakery, had an amazing lunch, played with all the shoes, and UNBELIEVABLE clothes. I say that in caps because I got to wear two dreamy Lanvin and Celine dresses. All in all, great day.
I leave this week for Panama, so my mind is very focused on summer/spring wear. I had to show of this tank/dress that I bought at H&M last week. Even though it was mind numbingly cold outside, I had to throw in one piece I'll be wearing on vacation. Actually two, if we include my new Ray Ban aviators. I just loved this teal color of the shirt paired with my curly haired beige coat. I'll take pictures of it in the correct environment when I'm away - I just needed to give a sneak peek.

Loved working on this project with Polyvore. It was so much fun considering I got to put together a little collage. It's the coolest website I can not stop playing on it. I also got a peek at the new Swatch collection. Join the Swatch Art of Gifting contest, you can make wishlists and tag eachother (kind of like secret santa) and you can both win the watch!

JBrand x Christopher Kane

(Jacket: JBrandxChristopher Kane, Dress: H&M, Hat: Free People, Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell)
I am sort of in love with this whole JBrand and Christopher Kane collaboration. Two of my favorite brands come together to create neon! Swooon<3 I was more than excited when I saw this hot pink denim jacket. It's so soft and worn in, and I couldn't help but think how perfect it will be for my trip to Panama next week. Being that I'm such a girly girl, pink was definitely my first choice out of the few options they had. Now I just need the yellow Bermuda shorts and I'm all packed. What is everyone doing for the Holidays?

(Skirt: Juicy Couture, Blouse: Necessary Clothing, Jacket: Juicy Couture, Shoes: Steve Madden)
I had to bring back my Juicy pieces from a few weeks ago. I never even thought about putting these two pieces together until today. I loved the break up between the two navy Juicy pieces from the hot pink blouse. I paired the outfit with my new Steve Madden shoes that are very similar copies of the Miu Miu's. I can not understand why they were on sale because they are so adorable, but I found them in the back corner of the store! My friends made fun of them when they first saw me wearing them out, but after an hour they became obsessed as well. They are the perfect pop to an outfit, and because the sparkles aren't so overboard they're not that obnoxious. I feel like everyone needs at least one sparkly item in December!

(Hat: H&M, Jacket: Daryl K, Top: SINGER22, Skirt: American Apparel, Shoes: Prada)
It took me a while putting together this look and trying to make it as least Amish as possible. I love this skirt style, but it's really difficult to make it look cute with all the accessories I want to pair it with in my head. I took one of my favorite muscle tee's (ew I hate saying that), that I bought from SINGER22, (it's the softest thing ever), my brown leather jacket, and my floppy hat from H&M and turned it into an outfit I'd wear every day. It's comfortable in the most feminine way.
It was the most beautiful day in New York, so we really got the greatest pictures with the most perfect light. It was a lot of fun up on the roof, we had the entire place to ourselves (considering it was below 30 degrees). I'm probably going to have to make it our go to for shoots this winter. What do you think?

(Sweater: Madewell, Jeans: Current Elliot, Shoes: Steve Madden)
We shot these photos for the love of Somethingnavy. It was FREEZING today, literally bitter. We managed to run up to the rooftop to snap some outfit shots while the light was perfect. It really is the most amazing view of Manhattan up there. It's almost surreal.
I bought this sweater at Madewell a few weeks ago, it's my new go to place for sweaters and flannels. They have the best stuff and at such an affordable price. I paired it with my Current Elliot Jeans my friend Jane got me from Gilt Group, added a little cuff at the bottom, and my nude Steve Madden mary-janes. I forgot which celebrity I saw wearing an outfit so similar, but I was completely inspired. The cold weather has made simplicity in fashion a lot more desirable to me. Staying warm and avoiding the numbness in body parts while walking to work or anywhere else, has been my number one priority.
