This National Tequila Day, we’re encouraging you to swap out your Moscow Mule for a Mexican Mule. The tequila version of the classic cocktail is refreshing and surprisingly simple to make, so there’s no excuse not to try something new today.
2 oz silver tequila
1 tbsp lime juice
½ oz orange liqueur
4 oz ginger beer (or ginger ale for a sweeter, more subtle alternative)
1 lime wedge
Combine tequila with ginger beer and orange liqueur, then add lime juice for an elevated citrus flavor. Pour over ice, add a lime wedge for garnish, and serve.
