In need of some sabbatical intel? You’re in luck! Next on our summer travel to-do list is none other than The Hamptons, the New Yorker’s chic summer retreat—and we’ve already rounded up all the must-try places to sleep, eat, see, and be so you, too, can summer like a Hamptonite. From Southampton to Montauk, here’s our local guide to the East End’s most beloved spots. Catch you there!

Sleep.

  • The Reform Club. Lush grounds and cedar shingles as far as the eye can see—meet The Reform Club, Amagansett’s secluded oasis.

  • The Surf Lodge. One of Montauk’s most happening mainstays, The Surf Lodge is home to chic takeovers and buzzy parties.

  • Gurney’s Montauk. A luxe Montauk getaway, Gurney’s is well versed in refined lodging—and its seaside cottages and spa accommodations are proof.

  • David Pharaoh Cottages. Separate from The Crow’s Nest main hotel, the brand’s boutique cottages boast seclusion, private beach access, and unobstructed lake views.

  • The Baker House. A traditional B&B experience, but with a tasteful East Hampton twist—namely, garden-side breakfasts, swaying wisteria, and English cottage refinements.

  • Capri Hotel. At this boutique Southampton hotel, guests are welcomed by yellow awning stripes, poolside sips, and farm-to-table fare.

Eat.

Breakfast and Brunch.

  • Little Ruby’s at Ruschmeyers. If you’re brunching way out East, you’re probably at Montauk’s Little Ruby’s at Ruschmeyers—where brekkie, drinks, and vibes do the most.

  • Hampton Coffee Company. A Hamptons staple, this family-owned coffee spot is a must for coffee and savory bites.

  • Left Hand Coffee. Perfect for your Montauk mornings, Left Hand Coffee boasts a menu of organic brews and health-conscious sides.

  • Buongiorno Bakery. Perched harborside, Buongiorno Bakery is the spot for all things Italian confections and water views.

  • Pierre’s. Calling all Bridgehampton foodies—this French eatery serves up delicious and elevated brunch classics.

  • Estia’s Little Kitchen. This cozy, diner-esque Hamptons joint specializes in Southwestern breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

Lunch, Dinner, Happy Hour.

  • Le Bilboquet Sag Harbor. This waterfront Sag Harbor gem is beloved not only for its très délicieux French spreads, but also for the feed-worthy setting to enjoy them in.

  • Tutto Il Giorno. A Hamptons non-negotiable for Italian fare, Tutto Il Giorno serves up classic bites and a modern, East End ambiance in Sag Harbor and Southampton (with an East Hampton outpost OTW!).

  • The Crow’s Nest. Between the lush lawns, wooden cabanas, magical sunsets, and craft sips while you enjoy all of the above, it’s no wonder The Crow’s Nest is a Montauk fave.

  • Moby’s. A casual East Hampton hangout, Moby’s is a winner time and again for wood-fired pizzas, chilled sips, and al fresco dining.

  • Topping Rose House. With rosé aflow and tasty bites on the menu, Topping Rose House’s awning-striped patio is the perfect Bridgehampton happy hour spot.

  • Roberta’s. Roberta’s is the newest of NYC hangouts to set up shop Out East—and with a must-try Montauk menu of pizzas, cocktails, and natural wines.

  • Duryea’s. Home to The End’s most famed lobster roll and golden hour lighting, Duryea’s is a chart-topper for more reasons than one.

  • Il Buco al Mare. Amagansett’s casual Italian hangout. Fresh oysters, cacio e pepe, and an Aperol Spritz coming right up!

Do.

  • Wölffer Wine Stand. Perched romantically in the Wölffer vineyard, The Wine Stand is a beloved spot for sipping, sunset watching, and dancing to live music every Friday and Saturday night.

  • Amber Waves Farm. From picking flowers to shopping Amagansett’s best local produce at the market, Amber Waves Farm makes a convincing case for a weekend family outing.

  • Bounce Beach Montauk. Montauk’s happening nightlife hangout, Bounce Beach is the (Kendall Jenner approved!) place to be for dinner, drinks, and live entertainment.

  • East Hampton Village Shops. Your summer wardrobe isn’t going to shop for itself! Grab your shopping tote and a friend—your chic spree awaits.

  • Parrish Art Museum. A popular summer fête destination, the Parrish Art Museum is the perfect spot for an art-filled family stroll or a lesson in culture. See what’s on exhibit here

  • Seawater Spa. One half of Gurney’s resort-spa enterprise, the Seawater Spa is Montauk’s most sought-after ticket to wellness.

  • Balsam Farm Stand. Your Sunday plans, made. Pick up some fresh blooms, locally grown produce, and general store goodies.

  • Beach it. Of course, no Hamptons getaway is complete without an ocean dip.

Pack.

  • A chic set. Keep things simple—but chic, nonetheless!—with a standout co-ord, like our Floral Tiered Maxi Skirt and Floral Halter Top set. Pair the pieces together or style them individually. Either way, you’re destined to turn heads.

  • Arm candy. A neutral handbag goes a long way in any closet, and this Staud leather tellie tote is no exception. Wear it on your wrist, or go hands-free with its crossbody strap.

  • Matching sandals. A matching tote and shoe moment is always a good idea. Throw on these Saint Laurent woven leather slides, and you’re ready to stomp around town.

  • Accessories. For accessories, something classic with a bit of edge will do the trick. Enter, these Celine cat-eye acetate frames—a timeless silhouette with literal edge.
