Rosé Aperol Spritz

Attention all traditionalists—this is not your mama’s Aperol Spritz! Easy to make and even easier to drink up, this sip is a summer must, whether you’re poolside under an umbrella or not. 

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup passion fruit juice, chilled

  • ¼ cup Aperol

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice

  • 4 teaspoons sugar

  • 1 750 mL bottle rosé, chilled (our current fav: The Pale Rosé!)

  • Ice for serving

  • Ruby Red grapefruit slices (for garnish)

Directions:

  • Whisk together passion fruit juice, Aperol, fresh lime juice, and sugar in a large pitcher until sugar dissolves. 

  • Stir in rosé. 

  • Pour into an ice-filled wine glass. 

  • Garnish with Ruby Red grapefruit slices and enjoy.

Gin Basil Smash

We’re giving our G&T some R&R this summer—and we’re sipping on this gin-lovers aperitif instead. Fresh-squeezed lemon juice, muddled in-season herbs and a taste so good you’ll be pouring it all summer long.

Ingredients: 

  • 8-10 basil leaves, add more for garnish

  • 2 ½ ounces gin

  • ¾ ounces lemon juice 

  • ¾ ounces simple syrup

  • Ice for serving 

Directions: 

  • Muddle (or gently mash) basil leaves in a cocktail shaker. 

  • Add gin, lemon juice and simple sugar to the shaker. 

  • Add two handfuls of ice and shake until chilled. 

  • Strain drink into ice-filled lowball glass. 

  • Top off with soda water, if desired. 

  • Garnish with basil leaves and enjoy.

Summer Strawberry Mule

A fruity spin on a classic, this strawberry mule will be a winner whether you’re hosting a swank alfresco soirée or sipping alone with your current read. Grab your copper cups and thank us later!

Ingredients: 

  • 2 ounces silver tequila

  • 3 ounces ginger beer

  • .75 ounces simple syrup

  • .75 ounces fresh lime juice

  • 3 strawberries

  • 10 mint leaves

  • Ice 

Directions: 

  • Muddle (or gently mash) strawberries, mint leaves, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. 

  • Add tequila and ice to the shaker and shake. 

  • Strain into glass with ice. 

  • Top off with ginger beer. 

  • Garnish with mint leaves and fresh strawberries, and enjoy.
