Sure, the worlds of fashion and sport have long occupied their unaffiliated independence in entertainment, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy both at the same time! The Olympics has always been a shared obsession for sports fanatics and style enthusiasts alike—and it’s simple to see why. But the 2022 Winter Games, in particular, stood out from the rest—with fashion taking center stage on the ice, on the slopes, and on the leaderboards in Beijing. Call it the fashion games!

From opening ceremony uniform debuts to medal-accepting podium looks, there was no shortage of functional, fashionable, and uber patriotic wares at this year’s events. Some leaned more traditional, while others wow-ed with less conventional designs. They all share one thing in common, though—all were winners. We’ve rounded up a sporty-chic collection of see now, buy now labels touted by the world’s athletic best. Scroll for your tasteful dose of fashion all the way from Beijing!

Ralph Lauren

Keeping it cool-n-classic at this year’s Opening Ceremony was Ralph Lauren, who’s no stranger to designing a Team USA uni. The luxury all-American outfitter, who has become synonymous with Olympic fashion, has been at the helm of USA dress since 2008—and it doesn’t take much to see why. This year, the designer debuted a sporty range of all things red, white, and blue. How apropos! Hooded “USA”-emblazoned anoraks and lace-up boots paired with gloves and tri-colored beanies—all of which were made with recycled materials. Signature Polo turtlenecks and lumberjack jackets are even rumored to show face at the Closing Ceremony, too! The best news? All of the pieces are just a click away from finding a spot in your closet… you know, just in case you’re in the market for a more patriotic wardrobe rebrand!

Skims

Marking its second Olympics debut, Kim Kardashian's shapewear label Skims has taken the front seat for Team USA’s female athletes in this year’s Winter and Paralympic Games. The high-range collection mirrors its predecessor—a debut of undergarments for the 2020 Tokyo events—with an assortment of cozy-chic loungewear, sleepwear, and undergarments in muted and more-polished reds, whites, and blues. A minimalist’s dream! To make things, even more, USA befitting, each piece can be found stamped with a star-spangled flag or “Team USA” lettering, and five Olympic rings. Top swoon-worthy pieces include comfy robes (made with the brand’s best-selling cozy fabric!), ribbed tank and boxer sets, form-fitting mini dresses, and more. Our only advice? Shop the *capital L* limited-edition capsule ASAP.

Giorgio Armani

The luxury Italian house, who's well acquainted as Team Italy's official Olympics outfitter, showed up and stepped out at the Beijing games—namely, with the Italian flag itself as its headlining piece! Athletes danced through the national stadium donned in front-zipped glossy capes reminiscent of the team’s national flag. All gear boasts the namesake designer’s EA7 label and includes the cape as well as the royal blue tracksuit the athletes paired underneath. To make things even more patriotic (as if!), the designer inscribed the country’s national anthem inside the set’s jacket and a gold “Italy” stamp on its back. Cross off “designer cape” from your must-buy list!

Lululemon

The sensational athleisure phenomena touched down (in style) in Beijing with Team Canada. The brand first unveiled its Winter Games garb at the Opening Ceremony, where athletes paraded in recognizable Lululemon silhouettes designed with a niche Olympics twist. Knee-length puffer vests were styled with crossbody pouches while wool quarter-zip pullovers were styled with bright red beanies. No matter the item, the outfitter kept a palette of deep red and white hues, as well as embossed maple leaf motifs, at the center of the inspo board. Though only available in Canada, the patriotic offering is officially up for grabs. Comfortable, functional, and ready to be added to your cart!

Actively Black

Black-owned athleisure label Actively Black kept to its roots when designing for Team Nigeria’s tip sheet of athletes—clean lines and tradition…with a hint of glitter! The team members took to the stage on Opening Ceremony night and drew eyes from across the globe—not for flaunting over-the-top outfits, but for the captivating simplicity of their uniform. The parka-pant uniforms kept faithful to the country’s flag with a green and white color scheme, while glittered-up head wraps and two-toned tie-dyed swath accessories escalated the debut look. This standout will surely find its way into the fashion archives!
