Day to Night Dressing

To us, there’s nothing better than day-to-night dressing. Not only is pulling together a look that can take you from coffee with a coworker to wine with a new date an easy way to save time (and a trip home to change)–it’s also financially savvy if we look at it from a cost-per-wear perspective. Inspired to start day-to-night dressing, but unsure where to start? Read on for our top tips–and some outfit pics to match.

(Faux) leather weather

When it comes to leather, we typically prefer ours to be of the vegan variety. Not only is it cost-effective, but it’s also more ethical - and can be easier to take care of. Our take on a classic leather look is one you can wear again and again–whether you opt for army or ecru, pairing our Classic Faux Leather Button Up with our Faux Leather Straight Leg Pants in Ecru is a look guaranteed to turn heads day or night.

A sweater–but better

Sweater dresses are, in our opinion, the unsung hero of the winter wardrobe. Throw one on and you look put together in 5 seconds flat. Our versions are a ribbed keyhole maxi moment, a midi with a mock neck and open back, and a turtleneck mini. They're work-appropriate with the right layer yet also fabulous enough for an event at EOD. Talk about a piece that will take you from work to weekend with ease.

Mini me

Is there a more classic way to anchor a look than with a fabulous miniskirt? While we’re on the topic of leather, our edgier take on the mini skirt looks epic with a pair of high-quality, sheer tights, an oversized cable knit sweater, and a pair of ballet flats. You'll be all set for the office–and for margaritas come happy hour.
