Something Navy's February Collection Is Elevating What You Want to Wear Now

As Something Navy's February collection arrives, we’re marking the eleventh month since Covid-19 became our new normal.

In what feels like an instant, our busy days, office pleasantries, and all-day outings ended. We’ve had time to adjust, and hope is on the horizon with the vaccine, but until then: how do we dress for our current state?

We want a WFH wardrobe, but an elevated version. We want loungewear, but in an oh-so-luxurious cashmere because, well, we deserve it. We want business casual suits, but with an air of playfulness because formal dress codes are long gone. In this sense, we want to breathe new life into the outfit recipes we’re literally living in.

The Something Navy Team, led by Founder and Creative Director Arielle Charnas, designed the new collection for both our everyday reality and the better days ahead.

After almost a year of sweatpants dominating, dresses are making a comeback. The February collection helps you prepare your closet accordingly. The Blanche is bringing elegance back in a big way. Between the feminine smocked detailing and the all-over plaid, this is the dress you’ll find an excuse to wear ASAP.

The Edie dress, a favorite from the January collection, is back in a new navy and floral print. This wardrobe staple looks equally fantastic with heels or sneakers, because versatile pieces are a must-have in the era of quarantine.

“I just can’t wait to dress up again! The Blanche and Edie are the perfect entryway for those who want to easily create an elegant and dressier look.”–Arielle

The February collection also marks a return to the outfit staples we literally lived in a year ago, but with signature Something Navy details. This collection is an ode to ruffles–they're a constant throughout. Ruffles adorn Betsy top and Celeste jacket, adding a unique and feminine flair to these pieces.

Old favorites make a comeback in this collection, including the beloved Sydney pants, which were originally part of the brand’s inaugural launch in summer 2020. The Danielle blazer, a style first released by last year, is back in three new shades–ivory, navy, and olive.

This time, Danielle has matching trousers to make it a full suit. With traditional tailoring details and a sleek silhouette, this is a showstopping suit. You can make it your own: worn together, it’s a classic combination, but layered over a hoodie, it’s a relaxed but still business-ready look.

“The Danielle suit feels effortlessly iconic. I love the SN take on suits–this is power dressing without looking too serious.”–Arielle

For those looking to upgrade their loungewear and cozy separates, the February collection has major pieces just for you. Set styling remains on-trend this year, and the newest Something Navy set to add to your collection is the Greta sweatshirt and Bridget sweatpants.

The February launch also includes new versions of a favorite from the January collection: the Nellie cashmere set. The two new shades, ice blue and camel, will round out your luxe cashmere essentials. Sweater weather is still going strong, and the Minnie is sure to reinvigorate your cold-weather wardrobe.

“The Greta and Bridget are great staples to elevate your stay-at-home wardrobe, while the Nellie cashmere set is a luxurious combination you'll want to literally live in.”–Arielle

The designs are for those who dress for our current reality and those who are ready for better, brighter days to come.
