“Fashion has always been how I express myself,” Arielle said as she reflected on her fashion-filled childhood. “As a kid, I had so many outfit changes per day just to try new looks.”

As the youngest child, Michaela had many well-dressed influences to learn from. “I was always looking to my older sisters for style inspiration," Michaela said. "Many of my favorite childhood fashion pieces were probably theirs first!"

Even today, Arielle continues to inspire Michaela’s sense of style. “The best style advice Arielle has ever given me is to match my accessories to my shoes, or my shirt to my shoes,” Michaela explained. “She loves a good matching moment and says that's the key to looking put together.”

Since she became a mother, Arielle has turned to cotton fashion pieces to inspire outfits for her three daughters, Ruby, Esme, and Navy. "Michaela and I grew up wearing cotton nonstop, so it’s really special that we now dress our girls in cotton clothing too," Arielle said. “Cotton is breathable, hypoallergenic, and great for sensitive skin, which is essential for all of my girls."

Michaela echoed this penchant for cotton clothing, for both herself and her family. “As a new mom, nothing is more important than being comfortable,” said Michaela, who welcomed her daughter Paz earlier this year. Both she and her daughter are “always in cotton pieces because they’re so incredibly cozy!”

Ruby is a budding fashionista who often takes style cues from her mom and aunt. “Ruby is obsessed with fashion, and it's really amazing to watch her style outfits just like I do,” Arielle explained. “She has so much fun creating looks with the pieces from The Cotton Shop too, like our kid's Alexandra Ruffle Dress.”
