To many, the start of fall is hardly more than a change of seasons and a little more time at home. To all of us moms, though? Fall means back-to-school. It's seriously exhausting and sometimes emotionally draining (I think we can all remember the first time we dropped our little ones off at school). And because it can take a lot out of us, making time for self-care is paramount. Below, we’re sharing a few of the products that help us feel our best.

For mini mindful moments

If you have kids, you might struggle to find moments alone. Taking a nap? There may be a few little ones snuggling up with you. Cooking dinner? You might be teaching your kids how to help out. And while there’s nothing we love more than those special little moments, it is also important to carve out at least a few minutes a day for solo time. And, hey, we’re not judging if the only place you can be alone in your house is the shower. That’s why we love the Euka Wellness Shower Bombs, which were crafted by a husband-and-wife doctor duo. Each six-pack of shower bombs comes with two of each category: citrus-based “Happy,” lavender-and-eucalyptus-centric “Breathe Well + Calm,” and “Detox,” a delicious blend of grapefruit and peppermint. Simply drop them in the shower under the running water to create a spa-like experience in seconds.

Some days, you may not have time for a leisurely shower before you head out to tackle your endless to-do list. And for those days: an ice roller is your best friend. The Skinny Confidential Hot Mess Ice Roller, created by influencer and podcaster Lauryn Evarts, is our personal favorite. The handle is weighty and easy to hold, and the aluminum roller stays colder than anything we’ve tried. It’ll get your skin looking de-puffed and fresh in a matter of seconds. Plus, our favorite secret hack: if one of your little ones is feeling anxious, roll this down the back of their neck. It’ll hit a nerve called the vagus nerve, which is responsible for regulating stress response; icing the vagus nerve is a therapist and scientist-approved way to relieve anxiety fast.

For a glow-on-the-go

If you barely have time to apply SPF, let alone invest your time in an involved skincare routine, we’ve got the ultimate hack for you: Paya Health Superior Skin Gummies. Developed by holistic health coach Vanessa Fitzgerald, whose hair and skin are walking advertisements for everything she recommends, take two Paya gummies per day and your skin will be glowing in no time–minimal effort required. Formulated with B12, Biotin, Iodine, and retinol, among a host of other beneficial ingredients, expect smoother, firmer, and healthier-feeling skin within days of use. Just make sure to hide these from your kids, because, honestly, they taste like candy.

If you can’t tell by now, we’re all about products that multitask just as well as we do. And Bobbi Brown’s cult-favorite priming moisturizer is no exception. While it’s designed as a 2-in-1 moisturizer and primer for foundation, it provides such smooth coverage, we often forgo the foundation altogether. Pair this with your Paya gummies and you’ll have everyone asking for your skincare secrets.

Sustainable beauty brand ILIA has been a longtime favorite of ours, but if we had to choose one product from the lineup to bring to a desert island, it would certainly be this tiny tube. Small enough to take everywhere, whether you’re dabbing it on your cheeks or swiping some across your lips, the ILIA Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment provides the perfect natural flush and instantly makes you look awake and put-together, no matter how tired you really are.

For the expecting or very new mom…

If you just gave birth, first of all: congratulations! Second of all: take a breath. Being a mom is hard work, and you’re doing great. Taking care of your baby is obviously the number one priority right now, but, hear it from us: you need to take time to care for yourself, too. It’s not something to feel guilty about; it’ll make you a better mom in the long run. Below, we’ve shared a few of our favorite wellness products and subscriptions to help make an incredible but challenging time feel that much easier.

You don’t need to be a mom to subscribe to Superhuman, Mimi Bouchard’s groundbreaking meditation app that offers meditations for everything from your classic seated to cleaning to running errands, but they do have options for you. Superhuman recently launched a “Motherhood Meditations” category. Led by hormone and stress expert Dr. Mallory, Superhuman has guided Motherhood Meditations on everything from “Releasing Society’s Expectations” to “When Body Insecurities Arise” to “When You’re Losing Patience With Your Child,” and so much more for making you feel supported during every stage of your journey.

Whether you’re just postpartum or still pregnant, MUTHA Body Butter is about to become your new best friend. Rub it on your stomach every night to soothe the skin and minimize the appearance of stretch marks. It’s all-natural and will keep your skin hydrated for days.

If you know Arielle, you know she loves Megan Roup and The Sculpt Society. Megan shared her pregnancy and postpartum journey in a groundbreaking and candid way on her social media channels (not everyone enjoys the experience of being pregnant, and that’s more than okay), and she’s now taken that experience and used it to create a fantastic workout program that’ll take you from your pregnancy right through postpartum. The TSS MAMA Program is one of our favorite approaches to postnatal workouts we’ve tried.
