After first use Arielle fell in love, which of course meant the rest of us here at Something Navy had to try it! This toothbrush is seriously unlike any we’ve used before. It has a visual timer that tracks how long each brushing session is, so we always know when we’ve brushed the dentist-recommended two minutes. There are also adorable smiley icons on the display that let us know once we have hit our two-minute mark.
The Oral-B iO Electric Toothbrush also has a smart pressure sensor, which gives positive feedback when we’re brushing with just the right amount of pressure. Believe it or not, brushing too hard is bad for your gums! The sensor warns us with a red light when we are using too much pressure and turns green when we’re cleaning at just the right pressure.
There is also a really cool interactive display that allows you to personalize everything from welcome greetings to brushing modes. Plus, when you connect to the Oral-B app, you can set reminders for when to change the brush head every three months.
Speaking of... this toothbrush has an ‘ultimate clean’ brush head, which has twisted and reinforced bristles that reach every little crevice for a deeper clean. It also oscillates, provides rotational movements, and gives off micro-vibrations as we brush. Every time we brush, we feel as though we’ve just left the dentist’s office as it truly gives us that professional clean feel.
